May 17, 2017 (newstodate): The ninth Airbus A3250 aircraft for Finnair is now in the air, undergoing a series of test flights prior to delivery.
The first flight of the aircraft was performed on May 11, 2017, and delivery is now slated for June 2017, one month later than earlier planned.
The aircraft has been re-worked for changed configuration with fewer business class and more economy class seats compared to the preceding aircraft.
Finnair's Airbus A350 #10 is currently in the paint shop and is so far also scheduled for delivery in June 2017 - if plans hold.
The carrier will receive the 11th aircraft before the end of the year, closing this year's delivery scheme.
Finnair received its first Airbus A350 aircraft from Airbus on October 7, 2015 and has placed orders for a total of 19 A350-900 aircraft that will all have been delivered in 2023.
