May 18, 2017 (newstodate): After phasing out its freighter production with the last flight on May 13, 2017, the Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time is now taking a second step towards the goal of operating a string business model.
In the fleet now are still five ATR aircraft operating during this summer season on a contract with SAS, but the last flight in this series is planned for September 2, 2017, after which the aircraft type will be retired from service with Jet Time, as have already three aircraft since the start of this year.
After this, Jet Time will focus entirely on operating its fleet of six Boeing 737-700 aircraft on charter and ACMI contracts with tour operators and other airlines, in addition to two Boeing 737-800 aircraft on contract with TUI for another two winter seasons.
