May 16, 2017 (newstodate): The Georgian carrier Georgian Airways has announced the expansion of its fleet as well as new destinations to be added to the route map.
Joining the fleet is one more Boeing 737-700 aircraft on a lease contract and expected to enter commercial service shortly, alongside one other Boeing 737-700 aircraft and one Boeing 737-500 already in service.
Poised for delivery to Georgian Airways are also two Embraer E190 aircraft to serve alongside one Bombardier CRJ100ER and one CRJ200LR aircraft.
The carrier is also to launch flights from Tbilisi Airport to new destinations - London, starting from May 20, 2017, and Prague, starting from June 12, 2017.
Flights from Tbilisi to Paris are also under preparation.
