May 04, 2017 (newstodate): The Danish freight forwarding and logistics company Carelog Freight Service has found a new majority owner: Panalpina.
Established in 2008 and with its main focus on air and sea logistics provider for customers in Denmark's western region Carelog, with HQs near Aarhus, Denmark, remains managed by its current managing director and part-owner, Lars Engbo.
Under the name Panalpina Carelog, the company will boost Panalpina's local presence in the western parts of Denmark, home to over 70 percent of the country's manufacturing industries as well as major trading companies.
After the merger, the two companies will employ around 70 staff at six locations in Denmark including Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense.
