Jun 02, 2017 (newstodate): Since 2016, a cooperation between an Icelandic and a danish aerospace company has opened new venues for business.
The Icelandic provider of technical and engineering services ADG, Aero Design Global, and the Danish aircraft maintenance company Aeroservice have joined forces to provide customers with a complete package of aircraft technical, engineering and maintenance services, targeting airline operators as well as aircraft leasing companies.
-Together, CAMO-approved ADG and EASA Part-145 certified Aeroservice can offer complex and comprehensive solutions, having so far completed projects in markets including Turkey, Canada, Iceland and Switzerland, says Aegir Thorberg Jonsson, ADG Technical Director.
-Both companies are staffed with highly competent and experienced specialists, used to handling of complex and requiring technical and engineering issues.
-On one hand, we can provide solutions to airlines' and aircraft operators' technical requirements, and at the same time we can take over the CAMO and Part-145 control for aircraft leasing companies' transitions of aircraft, or preparations for storage of aircraft, says Mr Jonsson.
Keflavik-based ADG is now preparing to set up an office also in Copenhagen, Denmark, adjoining Aeroservice.
