Jun 20, 2017 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic can expect the delivery of its next two Bombardier CS300 aircraft within weeks.
The sixth and seventh CS300 for airBaltic are thus now ready for the start of the test flight program, with deliveries probably within a month after the first lift-off.
The 5th CS300 aircraft arrived at Riga Airport on June 16, 2017, and the carrier earlier said that it expedted to have eight aircraft in the fleet in June, later rephrased to "by the end of 2017".
airBaltic is the first operator of the CS300 aircraft and has so far placed orders for a total of 20 aircraft.
The world's second airline to take in the CS300 aircraft is Swiss that received its first aircraft on May 27, 2017, and also now has two more aircraft ready for start of flight testing.
