Jun 22, 2017 (newstodate): Georgia's capital airport Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli Airport will get its first-ever direct airlink to Bahrain.
Behind the new route is Gulf Air that will introduce three weekly rotations between Tbilisi and Bahrain from today, June 22, 2017, with Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
The first direct air link between Georgia and the Emirates was however launched by FlyDubai on November 4, 2011, with two direct weekly Boeing 737-800 rotations between Tbilisi Airport and Dubai.
