Jun 29, 2017 (newstodate): IATA has approved a new member airline in Russia: VIM-Avia.
The approval came in May 2017, following on the carrier's successful renewal of the IOSA certification process, first passed in 2010 as one of the prerequisites for seeking IATA membership.
Based at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, VIM-Avia is among the Top-10 airlines in Russia in terms of passenger volumes that reached over two mio in 2016.
