Jun 09, 2017(newstodate): Norwegian's coming new South American venture, Norwegian Air Argentina S.A. has big plans for it coming services.
The company was set up in January 2017 and has now applied to the Argentinian authorities for a commercial license and approval of its planned route network.
The company will operate from Buenos Aires to a number of US and European destinations, including flights to Copenhagen, Denmark, and the carrier will also operate international flights from other Argentinian airports as well as domestic flights betweeen 12 Argentinian destinations.
Starting out with basing six Boeing 737 aircraft with the Argentinian subsidiary, plans are to expand the fleet to 11 Boeing 737 and four Boeing 787 aircraft within the first year of operations
