Jun 14, 2017 (newstodate): A new cargo terminal has been commissioned at Poland's Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport, in the southeastern part of the country.
The 6,700 sq m facility has been up based on investments by Waimea Holding S.A that will also be managing the terminal offering multi-modal cargo handling immediately adjacent to the airport.
Crucial to the sustained industrial development of the region, the cargo terminal will provide also handling af transfer shipments between western and eastern Europe.
An international airport in southeastern Poland near the Polish border to Ukraine and Slovakia and with a 3,200 m runway, Rzeszow Jasionka Airport is the seventh-busiest airport in Poland.
Since June 2012, the Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics has been offering line maintenance services at the airport.
