Jun 13, 2017 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is doing remarkably well in cargo volumes in 2017, with sustained positive growth month by month, compared to 2016.
In May 2017, the airport handled a total of 927 tonnes of cargo - a modest volume by global comparison, but still no less than 29.6 percent up on last year.
Included in the totals were 773 tonnes of cargo, compared to 716 tonnes in May 2016, an increase by eight percent y-o-y.
In January-May 2017 the airport has thus handled a total of 4,088 tonnes of cargo, up 16.2 percent, y-o-y.
