Jul 05, 2017 (newstodate): During January-May 2017, Russian airlines saw their combined cargo volumes up by 22.8 percent, y-o-y, to 436,415 tonnes.
The largest contributors were AirBridgeCargo with 224,663 tonnes, up 15.1 percent, y-o-y, Aeroflot with 86,249 tonnes and up 40.6 percent, Volga-Dnepr Airlines with 14,657 tonnes and up 30.2 percent, Sibir with 13,491 tonnes and up 5.4 percent, and finally Rossiya with 11,312 tonnes, up no less than 196.7 percent.
Together, these five airlines thus accounted for 79.8 percent of all cargo on Russian airlines during the first quarter of this year.
