Jul 06, 2017 (newstodate): As planned, the Lithuanian ACMI and charter carrier GetJet Airlines has added a fourth aircraft to its fleet this summer.
The latest new Boeing 737-400 aircraft was delivered in May and is now in full commercial service with the carrier on contract with customer airlines.
Set up in 2011 and based at Vilnius Airport, GetJet Airlines received its own AOC in 2016, starting business as an aircraft brokering company, but now focussing on ACMI contracts for its aircraft fleet.
GetJet Airlines now plans to gradually expand with Boeing 737-800 aircraft from 2019-20, phasing out its last Boeing 737 Classics also in 2020.
Taking yet a step ahead in the business, GetJet Airlines expects to complete its IOSA certification process later in 2017.
