Jul 04, 2017 (newstodate): Starting from next summer, Sweden's Gothenburg Airport can add Bucharest, in Romania, to its network of destinations.
With the first flight on April 15, 2018, the Hungarian LCC WIZZ Air will start operations between Gothenburg and Bucharest, offering three weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft.
The new route will further bolster WISS Air's position at Gothenburg Airport from where it is already offering flights to destinations including Belgrade, Budapest, Gdansk, Warsaw, Skopje and Tuzla as well as Vilnius.
WIZZ Air's coming new connection to Bucharest from Gothenburg will be the Swedish airport's first Romanian destination, while WIZZ Air is also offering flights to Bucharest from Stockholm Skavsta Airport and Malmo Airport.
