Aug 22, 2017 (newstodate): Contracts for handling of the coming Air India flights from Delhi to Copenhagen are now firming up.
The carrier that will launch flights on the route from September 16, 2017, with three weekly rotations has signed SAS Group's handling subsidiary SGH for passenger handling while the cargo handling partner will be Spirit Air Cargo Handling at Copenhagen Airport.
Air India has thus chosen similar set-ups at Stockholm and Denmark.
Still pending is the outcome of Air India's tender for a cargo GSSA in the Scandinavian markets.
Serving Air India as cargo GSA for the carrier, off-line in Scandinavia till now, for over 15 years is Kales Airline Services.
Earlier this month, ProActive Airlines Services also announced that it had been appointed Sales Agent for Air India, but pending the designation of a cargo GSSA other agents in market are not precluded from booking shipments on Air India as well.
