The carrier will be offering daily flights between Philadelphia and Budapest with Boeing 767-300 aircraft, to become the first connection between these two destinations.
American Airlines first started flights to Budapest on March 6, 2011, with daily rotations from New York, but after one summer schedule the carrier put the services to Hungary on hold.
With this latest announcement, Budapest Airport will have flights also to New York from May 3, and to Chicago from May 5, 2018, with both new routes served by the Polish carrier LOT.
