Aug 18, 2017 (newstodate): The Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines is readying for launch of its new services to Balkan region.
Starting from September 15, 2017, the carrier will offer Belgrade in Serbia as an extension of its route since June 23, 2016, between Beijing and Prague, in the Czech Republic.
The carrier will be offering three weekly rotations on the route from Beijing to Prague, continuing to Belgrade on two of these flights using Airbus A330 aircraft.
Hainan Airlines has also obtained 5th Freedom Rights on the leg Prague-Belgrade, allowing it to sell flights between these two points as well, and if sales on the flights to and from Serbia live up to expectations Hainan Airlines will shift to direct non-stop services at a later stage.
