Aug 04, 2017 (newstodate): The Danish carrier Copenhagen Air Taxi based at Roskilde Airport has now landed the Pilatus PC-12 on its AOC - and commercial flights with the new aircraft are in full swing..
-We received the AOC allowing for the operation of the Pilatus PC-12 on July 7, 2017, and the first commercial flight with the aircraft was operated immediately after, says Jimmy Arly Larsen, Copenhagen Air Taxi Director of Flight operations and Chief Flight Instructor IFR.
-We have focused on completing all pertinent paper work for obtaining the Pilatus PC-12 AOC with this first aircraft, but three more aircraft are now to be added, and we expect the Pilatus fleet to comprise all four aircraft already by the end of August provided the supplier meets the target.
-The Pilatus aircraft is performing excellently and we have contracts and agreements in place with both corporate and other customers for the coming new services, says Mr Larsen.
Copenhagen Air Taxi has contracted the Danish aircraft broker Blackbird Air Charter to take full responsibility for sale and marketing of the Pilatus PC-12 capacity, while Copenhagen Air Taxi will be in charge of all operational issues.
The aircraft can seat six passenger in a VIP configuration, or eight passengers in standard commuter configuration.
