Aug 16, 2017 (newstodate): Air India is today performing its flight flight from Delhi to Scandinavia, starting out with Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The Air India flight using Boeing 787-8 aircraft will have a brief two-hour turn-around time at Stockholm Arlanda before returning to Delhi.
Next to come will be flights from Delhi to Copenhagen, in Denmark, from September 15, 2017.
In both cases flights will be offered three times weekly, with services to Sweden on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and to Denmark on Tuedays, Thursdays and Saturdays, which will thus grant connections between India and Scandinavia on six weekdays.
The schedule will benefit also cargo operations, with ample trucking services connecting the two Scandinavian markets.
Air India has yet to name a GSSA to cover the Scandinavian markets while initially relying on cargo sales agreements with providers including ProActive Airline Services.
