Aug 02, 2017 (newstodate): In the air for a year now, Moldova's new privately-owned carrier FlyOne has signed a CAMO contract with the Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics.
Under the contract, FL Technics will support the carrier with AD/SB analysis, maintenance planning, reliability monitoring, utilization control, engine condition monitoring, orders preparation, flight data analysis, as well as continuing airworthiness of the fleet and other engineering support under its Part M approval.
FlyOne performed its first commercial flights from Chisinau to Moscow Domodedovo Airport on June 10, 2016, and has since grown its fleet from one to now three Airbus A320 and one Airbus A319 aircraft.
During the first five months of 2017, the carrier has managed to grow its share of Moldova's air traffic market to 12 percent with scheduled flights to destinations including Birmingham, Valencia, Barcelona, Dublin, Lisbon, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Milan, Rome, Verona, Venice, and Parma.
