Sep 14, 2017 (newstodate): Air India will perform its first flight from Delhi to Copenhagen on September 16, 2017 and is now open for cargo sales in the Danish market.
Not through a cargo GSSA, however, as the outcome of the ongoing tender is still not completed.
Like the case in Sweden where Air India launched flights from August 15, 2017, the carrier has given ProActive Airline Services the authority to sell cargo space on the flights on an interim basis until the appointment process is finalized.
Both new Scandinavian routes are operated with a Boeing 787-8 aircraft offering three weekly rotations from Copenhagen and Stockholm.
