Sep 29, 2017 (newstodate): Air Canada is to keep its two routes to Iceland flying also in summer 2018.
The carrier first launched services in the summer 2017 schedule, with a total of seven weekly flights to Keflavik - four from Toronto and three from Montreal.
Starting in June 2017, Air Canada's subsidiary Air Canada Rouge operated the flights with Airbus A319 aircraft.
From May 30, 2018, however, the flights will be taken over by the mother carrier itself as Air Canada will introduce the larger Boeing 737 MAX on its routes to Iceland.
Air Canada is the first Canadian airline and only Star Alliance carrier in North America to fly to Iceland.
