Sep 15, 2017 (newstodate): 2017 promises to become another year of positive performance and growth for the Icelandic cargo GSSA, Cargo Express.
-We are still growing rapidly utilizing the ever-growing network of WOW Air as well as the increased presence of other airlines we represent in the Icelandic market, says Robert Tomasson, Cargo Express managing director and owner of the company that launched business on December 1, 2008.
-So far into 2017, our tonnage has grown by 80 percent above 2016, and the coming winter season looks to be a strong one as well.
-Prospects for 2018 look promising indeed as we will be adding many new direct destinations from Keflavik both to Europe and North America, says Mr Tomasson.
In Iceland, Cargo Express serves as cargo GSSA for airlines including WOW Air, Norwegian, airBaltic, CSA and Germania.
With effect from November 1, 2016, Cargo Express designated Proactive Airline Services as WOW Air's cargo GSSA in the Nordic markets.
