Sep 20, 2017 (newstodate): Loftleidir Icelandic, a subsidiary of the Icelandair Group, is sending one Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Samoa.
The Samoan carrier Polynesian Airlines has signed a lease agreement with Loftleidir for one Boeing 737-800 aircraft starting from November 2017 as the aircraft is returned from its current lessee, the Italian airline Neos.
In another deal, Loftleidir Icelandic, TACV Cabo Verde Airlines and the Government of Cabo Verde in August entered into a management agreement on the restructuring of the loss-making TACV Cabo Verde Airlines and position it as a key strategic asset to contribute to Cabo Verde's potential as a year-round tourist destination, and to develop Cabo Verdes position as a connecting hub with a CAT 1 airport linking four continents.
And in South America, Loftleidir is to place one Boeing 757-200 aircraft with Chile's Latin American Wings for operations during the coming winter schedule.
