Sep 29, 2017 (newstodate): Only hours after Iran Air's office at Copenhagen hesitantly confirmed that plans were underway for launch of flights to Denmark, the news is out...
Iran Air will indeed return services, suspended since May 2013, between Tehran and Copenhagen Airport, with the first flight on November 4, 2017.
From the start, the carrier will be offering one weekly rotation with Airbus A300 aircraft.
The return to the Danish market is rather modest, compared to Iran Air's decision to a second weekly frequency to its flights from Tehran to Gothenburg starting from the coming winter schedule on October 31, 2017, and going up from two to three weekly rotations on the route between Tehran and Stockholm from November 2017, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
