Oct 30, 2018 (newstodate): The new Ukrainian carrier SkyUp is to expand its European route network significantly already before the end of this year.
Starting from December 27, 2018, SkyUp airline will thus launch regular flights from Kiev to Tbilisi in Georgia, adding flights to Sofia from December 28, to Poprad in Slovakia and Barcelona from December 29, 2018.
The carrier is fully owned by Ukrainian capital, with 50 percent of the stake held by the two owners behind the country's leading tour operator JoinUp, Tatiana and Yuri Alba.
SkyUp Airlines is starting out with two Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will take in two Boeing 737 MAX 8 and two Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft in 2023.
