May 31, 2018 (newstodate): Trade between Turkey and Russia is growing, driving the need for more cargo capacity.
As a response to the development, Turkish Cargo has launched a freighter service between Istanbul Ataryrk Airport and Moscow Vnukovo Airport, operating an Airbus A330-200F aircraft on the route initially served with one weekly rotation.
Turkish Cargo is already offering belly capacity on the airline's four weekly flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport with Airbus A330-300 aircraft, as well as three weekly flights from Ankara to Moscow Domodedovo Airport using AnadoluJet's Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
