Jun 08, 2018 (newstodate): The Gulf carrier Emirates is planning for more flights between Dubai and Moscow.
Starting from October 25, 2018, the carrier will increase frequency on the route with one more daily flight, going up to three rotations.
Emirates first launched services to Moscow Domodedovo Airport from July 1, 2008, with five weekly Airbus A330-200 aircraft rotations, later introducing the Boeing 777-300ER as a replacement and adding a second daily flight from March 1, 2009.
From August 1, 2014, Emirates next replaced one of its two daily Boeing 777 flights with the Airbus 380 aircraft, but the A380 disappeared again from November 2014 as the crisis struck the Russian economy.
The Airbus A380 made a return on the route starting from October 1, 2016, on one of Emirates' two daily rotations between Dubai and Moscow.
