Jan 22, 2019 (newstodate): The Lithuanian carrier Danu Oro Transportas, DOT, has one ATR42-300 freighter up for sale.
Having arranged the previous sale of two ATR42-500 and provided advisory services in relation to the lease of an Airbus A320 aircraft recently added to the fleet, Airstream International has been mandated by DAT, the owner of the Lithuanian carrier, to market and sell the freighter aircraft that was acquired by DAT in 2003 and later transferred to the Lithuanian subsidiary in 2006.
The sales efforts mark the decision by DAT to retreat from the unprofitable cargo market and focus all attention to the ACMI market instead, also earlier announcing that its charter activities will end with the completion of this year's contracts with tour operators.
