Jun 27, 2019 (newstodate): It is indeed a great pleasure to see once again direct air cargo services between Copenhagen Airport and South America, said Morten Mortensen, CPH Director Airline Sales and Route development at yesterday's launch of LATAM Cargo flights.
   -With the new route, exporters in the Nordic region will save up to 48 hours of transportation time for shipments destined for South American destinations, which is crucial not least for the time- and temperature sensitive pharmaceutical shipments.
   -The new freighter service is however targeting not only  the pharma industries but also exporters of ingredients and customers in the automotive industries, as well as general cargo.
   -We are happy to see from the start that the new service is attracting exports also from Sweden, Norway and Finland, and on both of the first two flights the capacity of the aircraft has been fully exploited, said Mr Mortensen.
