Oct 22, 2020 (newstodate): The Faroe Islands' Atlantic Airways has now divested of the last of its two Airbus A319 aircraft.
The aircraft were poised to be phased out as Atlantic Airways takes in its new Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The first Airbus A319 was returned to its lessor for starting a new life with Air Malta from October 13, 2019, and the second aircraft has now found a new service life with the Spanish carrier One Airways as the airline's first aircraft.
Atlantic Airways is now operating two Airbus A320neo aircraft with the latest delivery on June 19, 2020, and plans are that the carrier will be operating four Airbus A320neo by the end of 2024 - if plans are not adjusted in light of the coronavirus-led downturn.
