Dec 02, 2020 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is back with flights between Ukraine and the Baltic region.
Earlier slated to start from October 6, but postponed till December 1, 2020, airBaltic is thus now offering two weekly rotations on the route to Kiev, Ukraine, from Lithuania's Vilnius Airport.
airBaltic has been online with flights between Riga in Latvia and Kiev since February 15, 1996 - but all flights were suspended earlier this year as the coronavirus spread.
Restrictions on flights to and from Latvia still apply, driving airBaltic to reopen flights to Kiev from neighboring Lithuania instead.
