Feb 12, 2020 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport did not open 2020 with positive news on cargo developments.
In January 202o, the airport again saw volumes dipping, down 3.1 percent, y-o-y to 838 tonnes, including 593 tonnes of cargo, and 245 tonnes of mail.
Compared to January 2019, the volume of cargo was thus down six percent, while the volume of mail fared better with a growth by four percent in January 2020.
Looking deeper into the cargo volumes, import cargo actually grew by 44.3 percent, while exports dipped by 21.2 percent, y-o-y.
