Sep 01, 2020 (newstodate): AirBridgeCargo is now preparing for a return of services at Oslo Airport.
From September, the carrier will again be offering two weekly flights from Oslo Airport to lift seafood exports to Asia via transfer at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport as the ban on handling of perishables is lifted.
Originally planned for September 1, 2020, this week's first flight will reach Oslo Airport from Amsterdam on Saturday 5, 2020, while the second weekly service on Mondays will start from Leipzig and continue to Moscow after the stop at Oslo Airport.
Both routings from Europe to Oslo may however vary according to changing market demands.
The ban on handling perishables transfers at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport was abruptly enforced from August 2, 2019, and lifted only from August 1, 2020, allowing AirBridgeCargo to resume its seafood uplift service at Oslo Airport.
