Jan 04, 2021 (newstodate): Aviator Airport Services Denmark A/S went through a dramatic ordeal by the end of 2020 as the company filed for bankruptcy and was placed under administration to allow for a reconstruction process.
The reconstruction was, however, completed with unique speed as the company was acquired by its former owner - now freed from the debts burden with the Danish state as the prime creditor, and securing the provision of uninterrupted services to its about 30 airline customers at Copenhagen Airport including Emirates and the Lufthansa Group carriers.
Managed Jo Alex Tanem as CEO, Aviator Airport Alliance provides airport handling services at 15 airports in the Nordic region.
On February 14, 2020, Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group announced the acquisition of Aviator from its former owner, the investment fund Accent Equity 2008, firming up its position in the ground handling business that also comprises the ownership since 2008 of Baltic Ground Services.
