Apr 15, 2021 (newstodate): The Lithuanian charter and ACMI carrier Avion Express - the country's largest airline - has taken delivery of its second Airbus A319 aircraft.
The aircraft was ferried to Kaunas Airport on April 11, 2021, on a lease contract with the US company Altavair Aviation Leasing.
In 2010 Avion Express based at Vilnius Airport and today operating a fleet of 11 Airbus A320 Family aircraft was acquired by French investment company Eyjafjoll SAS, formed by Avion Capital Partners of Switzerland, established in 2009 by David Masson and Gardar Forberg, both earlier with the Icelandic company Avion Aircraft Trading.
