Apr 22, 2021 (newstodate): Norway' seafood exporters are usually keen to grasp any opening for uplift capacity to the Asian markets.
One example is provided by the Vietnamese carrier Bamboo Airlines flying into Oslo Airport from Hanoi on April 25, 2021, with a Boeing 787-9 aircraft performing a repatriation flight while carrying also some five tonnes of Vietnamese exports including mobile phones with lithium batteries, consolidated cargo, fruits, garments and shoes.
Bamboo Airlines will then leave Oslo Airport without passengers on April 26, flying to Warsaw before continuing after a brief ground stop to Can Tho Int'l Airport in Vietnam.
The carrier has now been approved by the Norwegian CAA to load some eight tonnes of Norwegian seafood from Oslo on the return flight to Vietnam - and the capacity will undoubtedly be fully exploited by exporters..
