Jan 28, 2022 (newstodate): Air Serbia has started the renewal of its fleet of regional aircraft with new ATR 72-600 aircraft.
   The carrier has inked an aircraft lease agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital for a total of six aircraft with deliveries through this year, with the first aircraft handed over to Air Serbia on January 27, 2022.
   The six ATR 72-600 will replace Air Serbia's current fleet of smaller and aging ATR aircraft, including three ATR 76-200 delivered to JAT already in 1990, and two ATR 76-500 aircraft.
