Jan 26, 2022 (newstodate): Icelandair has again expanded its decade-long code-share agreement with the US carrier JetBlue.
On November 2, 2021, the two airlines signed an agreement to increase cooperation on flights to destinations on their route networks in Europe and North America, till now comprising only New York JFK Airport, Boston Logan Airport, Newark Airport and Keflavík Airport.
With this expansion of the cooperation, the partners added flights to Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Glasgow and Manchester.
Now, the two airlines have taken one more step, adding also Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Dublin and Bergen to their joint code-sharing network.
The expanded cooperation will benefit not least the use of Icelandair's hub at Keflavik Airport for JetBlue passengers traveling to European destinations.
