Nov 14, 2022 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport will lose its Air Canada-flights to Toronto for a period in winter 2023.
Probably due to shortage of cockpit crews, the carrier is to suspend services on the route connecting Copenhagen and Toronto from January 17 till April 1, 2023, forcing passengers to connect via other Air Canada hubs in Europe.
In S'23, Air Canada will be serving the route with five weekly flights, against earlier daily flights, and using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Air Canada has been offering direct scheduled flights from Toronto to Copenhagen since June 25, 2010, after a decade of seasonal operations.
Earlier handled by SAS Ground Handling, Air Canada is now since May 2022 served by Menzies providing passenger, ramp, cabin cleaning and de-icing services at Copenhagen Airport that has also become one of the first stations to adopt the terms of a Master Services Agreement between Air Canada and Menzies Aviation, streamlining the contractual process.
