Dec 09, 2022 (newstodate): Egyptair is increasing its services on the route to Copenhagen.
As of December 8, 2022, the Star Alliance member is now offering five weekly rotations on the route connecting Cairo and Copenhagen - surpassing the pre-Covid capacity measured in seats available on the flights.
Copenhagen Airport was among the first Egyptair destinations to be reopened after the Covid-19 lockdowns, returning from July 2020 with three weekly rotations offering connections at Cairo Airport to Egyptair’s African and Middle Eastern network.
Egyptair was online between the two destinations for many years until 2004, when traffic was suspended and only reinstated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft service from September 1, 2010.
