Jun 08, 2022 (newstodate):  The Lithuanian airline Global Airways Lithuania is now in the air with Airbus A320 aircraft thrown into the wet-lease and ACMI markets.
   As a first contract, Global Airways is placing three Airbus A320-200 aircraft with Corendon Airlines for operations in the European charter markets, flying tourists to Mediterranean leisure destinations during the summer season.
   Global Airways Lithuania was awarded its AOC in late March 2022, while the initial application was filed with the Lithuanian FAA already in October 2020. The lengthy process was due also to the impact of the Covid-19 limitations.
   While new in the air, Global Airways has actually already long been present in the market by its GSA, Bruno Kaspar, based in Vilnius.
