Nov 02, 2023 (newstodate): With the first flight today, Vilnius Airport is connected with Dubai by scheduled non-stop flights.
Operating the new route is airBaltic offering two weekly rotations during the winter schedule with Airbus A220-300 aircraft requiring an average of 6 hours and 35 minutes in the air.
The route from Vilnius is the second Baltic connection to Dubai by airBaltic that has been operating year-round flights since September 27, 2021, between Riga and Dubai with four weekly rotations.
In November 2021, airBaltic entered a new code-share agreement with the Gulf carrier Emirates, providing airBaltic customers from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Helsinki with seamless access to Emirates' worldwide network via its hub in Dubai.
