Mar 09, 2023 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Airseven is soon to take delivery of its second Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Starting out with a fleet comprising two Boeing 737-400 aircraft from an unknown lessor, and adding a third aircraft of the same type in January 2022 on a lease contract with the British aircraft lessor Aerotron, the carrier took delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft in December 2022, and expected the second delivery to take place shortly after.
This delivery is, however, still pending. Anyway, Airseven is aiming at operating an all -800 fleet by Q1, 2024.
All Airseven's aircraft are placed on the AOC of Copenhagen Air Taxi that is operating and maintaining the fleet.
Behind the airline are tour operator Primo Tours, Copenhagen AirTaxi, Klaus Ren, who is also serving as Airseven CEO, as well as the private investor Carsten Kenneth Jensen.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Airseven performed its first commercial flight only in June 2021 for Danish tour operators as well as providing wet-lease flights for airlines.
