Mar 30, 2023 (newstodate): Starting on May 1, 2023, Bucharest, in Romania, will reappear on the route map of the Latvian carrier airBaltic.
   The carrier will be operating three weekly rotations on the route with Airbus A220-300 aircraft, and APG Romania has been appointed the representative of AirBaltic in Romania and Moldova to offer support to tourism agencies, ticketing services, and assistance in marketing and sales projects.
   Supporting the route is a code-share agreement with Tarom to allow for seamless onward flights at Riga and Bucharest by the two airlines.
   airBaltic's first services from Riga to Bucharest were launched on May 11, 2014, with four weekly rotations using Dash 8-400 aircraft.
