May 03, 2023 (newstodate): Provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, Baltic Ground Services is again expanding its customer portfolio.
   BGS has thus landed a contract with SAS for handling at Vilnius Airport for a three-year period starting May 1, 2023.
   In this summer schedule, SAS operates up to 30 weekly flights at Vilnius Airport.
   On January 21, 1992, SAS became the first international airline to start regular flights from Vilnius Airport, opening the route to Copenhagen, later adding also flights from Vilnius to Stockholm.  
   A member of Avia Solutions Group, Baltic Ground Services, managed by Vitalis Dudys as BGS Group Head of Commerce, already counts LOT, Finnair, DHL, Wizz Air and Ryanair among customer airlines at Vilnius Airport, as well as operating at nine more airports across Europe.
