Nov 26, 2024 (newstodate): For decades, Air China is a staunch operator at Sweden's Stockholm Airport.
   Stockholm Arlanda Airport was long the only Nordic airport served by a Chinese carrier, with Air China offering daily rotations on the route from Beijing, and celebrating its 30th anniversary of unbroken passenger services on the route in 2018.
   Today, the carrier offers three weekly rotations on the route using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
   Air China is however also a frequent visitor at the airport for other purposes than passenger flights, using Stockholm Airport as a refueling station for Air China Cargo on the route from Chengdu in China to the USA.
   Only during November 23-24, Air China Cargo thus made six calls at the airport for refueling without any loading/off-loading of cargo.
