Nov 29, 2024 (newstodate): The Uzbek cargo carrier My Freighter has started the process of obtaining AOCs in Hungary and Saudi Arabia.
Obtaining a Hungarian AOC will facilitate My Freighter's efforts to expand its network to North and South America as well as across Europe, while establishing a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia in partnership with an unnamed “leading local carrier” will open up for routes in Africa and the Middle East.
Today, My Freighter operates to and from 10 Chinese airports, primarily lifting Alibaba and TEMU e-commerce goods to European and other markets via Tashkent and Navoi.
From Uzbekistan, My Freighter operates flights to European airports such as Liège, Ostrava, Budapest, and Leipzig, and has own cargo collection points in the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, as well in the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Brazil and Vietnam.
My Freighter was established in 2019 with ambitions to grow the freighter fleet to 20 units by 2026, up from today's four Boeing 767 converted cargo aircraft.
