Feb 08, 2024 (newstodate): Later this month, Riga Airport hosting an event introducing the services of WebCargo to the Latvian freight forwarding industry.
Participants are thus called to Riga Airport on February 20, 2024, to hear presentations by WebCargo on the new opportunities with digitalization of bookings and sales, also marking the entry of WebCargo in the Baltic airfreight markets.
-As an airport, we see how fast technologies enter the air cargo business, and the event aims to familiarize the Baltic cargo communities with one of the pioneers of digital air cargo sales and booking – Webcargo, says Eligijus Jentkus, Riga Airport Head of Air Cargo Development.
-Working via Webcargo's platform grants forwarders with real-time access to availability and exposure of pricing and capacity with more than 30 airlines worldwide.
-At this event, Webcargo will share experiences and tendencies in air cargo sales, and the event will provide a platform review as well as rich opportunities for networking.
-I believe that a tool like WebCargo will enhance the local air cargo communities' flexibility to access any part of the globe with just a few clicks, says Mr Jentkus.
Today, more than 1,800 freight forwarders across 90 countries use WebCargo by Freightos for eBookings, instant quoting, digital freight negotiation, sales portals, rate management software, and air cargo rate search across more than 370 airlines.
