Apr 26, 2024 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group, ASG, reports a strong performance in 2023, with increases in net profits and revenues.
   Revenue-wise, ASG generated 67 percent of its revenues in Europe, 20 percent in Asia, and six percent in North and South America.
   2023 was also strong in fleet development with the Group expanding by 27 aircraft to a total of 200, including 159 passenger and 41 cargo aircraft by the end of 2023.
   ASG also took important new steps in its strategy for global expansion with the launch of operations by BBN Airlines Indonesia and the acquisition of the Australian airline Skytrans in early 2024.  
   Looking ahead, ASG plans to establish four more ACMI airlines in Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia in the course of this year.
   Expansion in the region provides ASG with leverage to counterbalance the reduced seasonal demand in Europe by shifting aircraft between counter-seasonal regions.
